Festivities begin at the fayre
LOCAL produce will take centre stage at a festive fayre this week.
The event on Thursday will allow food fans to meet local suppliers and taste meats, pies, cheeses and tipples.
This is the third annual festive evening to be held at Farmers Fayre in Stoneleigh Park and visitors can sip a mulled wine whilst watching a local chef demonstrate his culinary skills.
The store, which brings local produce direct from farmers to the high street, is offering a free hamper wrapping service so shoppers can select a variety of goodies as Christmas gifts.
The event running from 6pm to 9pm on 3rd december is free.
