| The Red Lion (Hunningham) are due to celebrate their 1st birthday, and what a year it has been! I can honestly say that every experience (and believe me there has been a few!!) has been good. Actually, good is a poor word. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, the walls are interesting (you’ll need to go their to find out why), the food is oozing passion and flavour! The last chicken dish I ordered I can only describe as bone suckingly gorgeous!The menu changes regularly, but I love the fact that you can always get bangers and mash…and wait for it…the piece de resistance…the fabulous British Knickerbocker Glory! Well done Sam, Liz and the team!! Huge advocates of Local Produce the Red Lion gets a massive thumbs up from the Farmers Fayre. |
